The program suits both recent graduates at the start of their careers, and people with existing work experience. The program is targeted for unemployed immigrants or immigrants who are at risk of unemployment and have recently graduated with a degree in ICT or has a bachelor or university-level education within another relevant field. To be eligible, foreign individuals must have the right to the public employment and business services i.e. TE Services. The training program is part of the Talent Boost – International talents boosting growth program of the Finnish Government.

Do you have a solution-focused mindset and you are not afraid to take initiative to change your approach if something is not working? We are looking for new talents to dive into roles including test automation & cyber security. Your background on Robot Framework and Python are highly valued.

Your most important asset when applying is the desire to develop into a ICT expert, as well as your motivation to boost your own professional skills. During the training program, you will study alongside other top candidates and work as a specialist in an expert company where you can enhance your skills. The main goal of the program is an employment contract between you and the recruiting cooperation company at the end of the 6-month recruitment program.

Recruitment training, what is it?

The purpose of the programme is to enhance your expertise through high-quality training days and learning on the job in a new role. The aim of the recruitment training is for participants to secure employment within participating companies upon programme completion.

International ICT Talent F.E.C is workforce training, which is implemented in Uusimaa area with local TE-services and ELY-centre. The programme is targeted for unemployed jobseekers, or people facing the prospect of unemployment.

Grow quickly a new job

International ICT Talent F.E.C combines a quality training and new job tasks into a same package. During the program, you will study alongside other top candidates and work as a specialist in a cooperating company where you can enhance your ICT and digital professional expertise. As a result, you will boost your skills to a whole new level.

The main objective of the program is an employment contract between you and the partnering company at the end of the 6-month program. To be eligible, foreign individuals must have the right to the public employment and business services i.e. TE Services.

On average 80 % of participants in Saranen´s recruitment training program get employed after the program.

The program suits both recent graduates at the start of their careers, and people with further work experience from the ICT industry. Experience gained via IT or software-related hobbies are also beneficial. Some background in databases, web development, coding, ecommerce, CRM or test automation is highly appreciated in the recruiting companies.

Through the program, you can find yourself working, for example, in the fields of:

  • Full-stack software development
  • Web development (Javascript, CSS, HTML)
  • Test automation (Robot Framework)
Top quality level training

During the program, you’ll receive quality training from industry leaders and increase your skills that will be beneficial to you now and in the future. The best part of the training is that you’ll get the chance to take all your new skills and traits conveniently into practice in your new role.

Training consists of about 30 % of training days. The other 70 %, participants will be spending working in the hiring companies in real projects.

For whom is the program targeted?

International ICT Talent F.E.C is targeted for unemployed immigrants or immigrants who are at risk of unemployment and meets one of the following requirements:

  • Recently graduated international students in the field of ICT
  • Professionals with a bachelor or master’s degree from another country and relevant work experience in their field of expertise
  • Immigrants living in Finland due to their spouse’s work or Finnish citizens returning from abroad, who have a suitable university degree.

The program suits both recent graduates at the start of their careers, and people with further work experience from the ICT industry. Experience gained via IT or software-related hobbies are also beneficial. Some background in databases, web development, coding, ecommerce, CRM or test automation is highly appreciated in the recruiting companies.

To be eligible, foreign individuals must have the right to the public employment and business services i.e. TE Services. Fluent English is required, as the training will be carried out in English and the working language in most of the recruiting companies is also English. 

Duration and schedule of the program?

Duration of the program: 6 months

Program schedule: Program starts 11.12.2023 (includes a 5 day vacation period: February 19th -23rd, 2024).

Application process

From Saranen, you get individual support from the beginning of the recruitment process in the form of sparring, guidance and coaching.

1. After TE-service's application processing and pre-selection, we will invite you to interview with us.

2. Once we have gotten to know you in more detail, we will start advancing your application process.

3. We offer and arrange times for pre-interviews. After the selections, we conclude a training contract between you and the company for the duration of the program. The goal of the training is to employ you in a cooperative company for a permanent employment relationship at the end of the program.

Employment

The purpose of the training is to employ you in a cooperative company through the program. This can happen at the end of the program, or even during the program. On average, more than 80 % of the participants are recruited into a new role at the end of the training program.
